Himalayan Kingdoms Tour (Nepal, Sikkim & Bhutan)

This is an exclusive trip covering three Himalayan Shangrilas- Bhutan, Sikkim and Nepal in 15 days. It gives you an insight of the culture, religion, traditions and life styles of people living in these Himalayan countries. The trip begins from Kathmandu, goes across Darjeeling, Sikkim, Kalimpong and finally ends at Bhutan-the kingdom of thundering dragon.

Day 01 : Arrival Katmandu.
Transfer hotel. Sightseeing tours in Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath stupa and Pashupatinath temple. Overnight hotel.

Day 02 : Kathmandu- Chitwan
After breakfast, we drive five hours along Trishuli River to the low land of Nepal. In the afternoon, you will go to explore the wildlife of Chitwan National Park on elephant back. Over night in bungalow / camp.

Day 03 : Chitwan- Janakpur
We drive along Sunkoshi River to Janakpur. Janakpur has prominent role in the Hindu epic Ramayana. Visit the famous Janaki temple, dedicated to goddess Sita. Overnight in hotel.

Day 04 : Janakpur - Silguri
A beautiful journey through the lowland of Nepal along the villages and farmlands takes us to the boarder - Kakadbitta. We further drive and reach to Siliguri for overnight stay.

Day 05 : Siliguri - Darjeeling
Along the way to Darjeeling, we pass through several tea states. Overnight hotel.

Day 06 : Sightseeing of Darjeeling
In the morning sun rise view from Tiger Hill. In the afternoon, sightseeing of Ghoom Monastery, Himalayan Institute of Mountaineering, Zoological Garden etc. Overnight hotel.

Day 07 : Darjeeling - Gangtok
Drive through tea estates and various vegetation to Gangtok-the capital of Sikkim.overnight hotel.

Day 08 : Sightseeing of Gangtok
Visit the famous Rumtek monastery, the research institute of Tibetology , Phurba Chorten and Orchid Garden. Overnight hotel.

Day 09 : Gangtok - Kalimpong
As we cross the bridge over the Tista River, Kalimpong, a resort town becomes visible. Take rest or visit the nurseries, viewpoints and some monasteries. Overnight hotel.

Day 10 : Kalimpong - Phuntsoling
Drive to Phuntsoling -the Bhutanese boarder town.Today you stay in Phuntsoling a commercial and industrial center as well as overland gateway to Bhutan. This is the best place to buy the famous stamps of Bhutan.

Day 11 : Phuntsoling - Thimpu
With the breathtaking hairpin bents the road takes us from the tropical rain forest of low land to Thimpu-the capital of Himalayan country. Overnight hotel.

Day 12 : Thimpu - Paro
Sightseeing of Thimpu in the morning and drive to Paro.

Day 13 : Sightseeing of Paro
Visit the ruins of Drukgyel Zong, Taktshang monastery and the national museum, overnight hotel.

Day 14 : Paro - Kathmandu
The flight over the Himalayas reveals breathtaking views of highest peaks of the world including Mt. Everest. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to hotel. After refreshment, you will go to visit Patan & Bhaktapur.

Day 15 : Departure Kathmandu
Transfer to the airport for onwards journey
